My debut essay collection, How Kyoto Breaks Your Heart, was published in February 2023, published by The Emma Press.
More recently, I have become an editor for an independent print magazine called sangaku, which celebrates people and craft, beginning in Japan, with an eye to the world beyond its borders. Our latest volume is themed Gods.
